Mac Millie is back with a new studio project in the works!
Heavily working in the MADDLABB Studio’s in Chicago with composer and producer, S7NLEE. Mac’s new project is entitled “Furious Styles”. It’s offering you some of everything musically. You may recall Laurence Fishburne sported this name in the movie Boys In the Hood. Mac takes on the look and character Laurence had in the movie, but the look doesn’t match the heat he’s spitting over the MADDTRAXX S7N submitted for the project. Mac wants you rewinding his joints after a listen. It’s the hidden bars he carefully plants throughout a song that has you repeating it. Tediously lacing each line with witty, three denominational metaphors and catchy punch lines.
Mac always studying the game constantly. Listening to the greats like we all have coming up in big cities. And if you study the greats you gotta be doing something good. When he’s writing he searches for ways on how to approach each new song different than the last. Mash that together with S7NLEE’s original production and you got the makings of a monumental classic. Underground that is . . . indy living. The album is due out late September. Via iTunes, Tidal, Google Play, Amazon Music, etc.
Until that dope is released! Check out this new double feature from Mac Millie! Spittin’ over a couple of industry joints. “Spend It” & the infectious “Magnolia” track. Footage shot by S7NLEE. Video edited by Mac Millie. Teamwork makes the dream work . . .
Something in the minor key approaches this July as S7NLEE releases his third retail album entitled, MINOR KEYZ. Looking to expand his featured artist pool. Always keeping his sound bed dark and head knocking. Something you can expect from the Chicago producer. He reaches out to new upcoming artists like Sophie S, Trey Dilla, Fitzptheo and ILLA. While staying close to home as well with Mac Millie, Race Bannon and Chise Up.
Entitled Minor Keyz because throughout his adventures in production. He has always been known to create within the minor range of the musical scale. Often compared as the more spooky or serious chord in music. Of which is nothing new when it comes to hiphop. Hiphop has always had that edge to it. No surprise that Mac Millie got the first eerie hiphop induced single/leak, “Ice Cream Mann”. A track Pusha T would kill if giving the chance.
S7N channels the story of Mozart, using several audio inserts from the movie Amadaus. A movie that left a big impression on him in his youth. in fact everything is drenched with the movie Amadaus, artwork wise.
