Mac Millie presents a new hip-hop video segment accompanied by DjMH2DA
Hip-hop embodies so many things. Some of which are being forgotten. It’s
nothing like having a live DJ on set to provide audio backdrops at any given
time, when an MC at the mic. Mac reintroduces the concept with Chicago DJ,
DjMH2DA (K’Valentine, Chise Up). Masterfully scratching in classic after classic as Mac kicks intricate bars at ease.
Filmed at the MADDLABB Studios in Chicago, and edited by @S7NLEE for Gothic Soul Entertainment/MADDMANN-PRODUCTIONZ.
Executive Producers: Terrance McCants and M L Jones

Mac Millie

Mac Millie doing what he does best, create music!

Heavily working in the MADDLABB Studio’s on Chicago’s south side with composer and producer, S7NLEE.  Mac’s new project is entitled “Lyrical Autonomy”. With this offering, Mac concentrates more on his song melodies. Something that he and S7NLEE thought they lacked at times. That’s when up and coming producer Fitzptheo, invited the artist Cell to sit in on one of Mac’s sessions. Once Cell began singing, they lost it! Lol, An exceptional talent!  Every trax S7NLEE played, he had a melody for, backed with lyrics.  He’s a special one with great energy. Mac instantly took a liking too. It’s dope to create with a talent like that. Plus they sound good together.

Cell is featured on three of the songs on Lyrical Autonomy. All are single worthy. “Bagg Lady”, “Catch A Vibe” and “F***ing With U”. All single worthy. But the whole project is hit-bound. This time around S7NLEE didn’t produce everything. Longtime friend Dra-Matic, produced the majority. He might have sent Mac over 50 tracks to choose from.  And from the sound of things, he chose wisely. With so many tracks sent to him. Lyrical Autonomy is only a 10 song album. He wanted to keep things subtle, but unique. Fitzptheo produced the infectious “Para Mi”, featuring Kylima. The album also features R&B crooner, J Trav, Classic, and Ecka. Making her debut on the song, “No Disrespect”. Lyrical Autonomy available on all platforms.

Go hear the independence now!

There’s nothing better than putting together a project to S7NLEE unless it’s *****.

Something in the minor key approaches this July as S7NLEE releases his third retail album entitled, MINOR KEYZ. Looking to expand his featured artist pool. Always keeping his sound bed dark and head knocking. Something you can expect from the Chicago producer. He reaches out to new upcoming artists like Sophie S, Trey Dilla, Fitzptheo and ILLA. While staying close to home as well with Mac Millie, Race Bannon and Chise Up.

Entitled Minor Keyz because throughout his adventures in production. He has always been known to create within the minor range of the musical scale. Often compared as the more spooky or serious chord in music. Of which is nothing new when it comes to hiphop. Hiphop has always had that edge to it. No surprise that Mac Millie got the first eerie hiphop induced single/leak, “Ice Cream Mann”. A track Pusha T would kill if giving the chance.

S7N channels the story of Mozart, using several audio inserts from the movie Amadaus. A movie that left a big impression on him in his youth. in fact everything is drenched with the movie Amadaus, artwork wise.
